About The Crosby Fair and Rodeo
Crosby Fair & Rodeo, Inc. (CF&R) is a private, 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization that was established in 1946. It is in existence solely for the purpose of supporting Crosby Area Youth through Education and Agriculture.
CF&R owns some 20 +/- acres of ground on FM 2100 in Crosby with the necessary facilities to produce our annual Fair for the Crosby Area Youth and for our PRCA Rodeo and BBQ Cook-off which is held each year in mid-June.
We, at CF&R, consider ourselves to be a vital and integral part of this community. The activities which we support and those that rent our facilities are a TREMENDOUS boost to the economy of this community and we sincerely hope that it does not go unnoticed.
Many events other than those sponsored and supported by CF&R rent the facilities during any given year. Those events include at least 13 dog shows that consist of a minimum of 3 days, musical events, trail rides, benefit events for various causes and various 4-H and FFA events.
In 2013, we were nominated for Small Rodeo of Year by P.R.C.A. CF&R is also a proud sponsor of Tough Enough to Wear Pink. This is another area in which CF&R has been recognized as one of the top five fund-raisers in the nation for the last four years, with all proceeds donated to local cancer patients for assistants in treatment needs.
